After dedicating over a decade of hard work and perseverance to the food service industry, both working on-the-line and as an entrepreneur – Jeremy Fox – the manager for FRG Enterprises LLC, opened Fox’s Bagel & Deli on October 3, 2022, which was named in homage to his heritage.

Born & raised in Bexley, Ohio, Fox acquired his first job at a neighborhood Italian restaurant as a busser, which ignited within him an unquenchable fire for finding a career in the food service industry that burns brighter-than-ever today.

Fox’s initial entrepreneurial pursuits led him to open a street food cart in 2011, under the name “Short North Bagel Deli,” from which he served steamed bagel sandwiches. This operation quickly allowed him to open two food truck locations on The Ohio State University’s Main Campus, one in Ohio Stadium (“The Shoe”) and one in the Schottenstein Center (“The Schott”). At the same time, he was fortunate in forming a partnership with Aramark – servicing several corporate headquarters in the Columbus area.
In 2017, Fox acquired licensing for “Block’s Bagels,” and opened a brick & mortar location in Bexley. Following a few years of success in that location, he opened a North Market stall, located in Columbus’ Short North Arts District, in March 2020.

In October 2019, Fox purchased Heirloom Café, which is located inside The Wexner Center for the Arts, on The Ohio State University’s Main Campus. One of few independently owned eateries on campus, the café offers a locally, seasonally, and organically-derived menu, as well as ample seating options. And, in March 2022, Fox took ownership of Sammy’s NY Bagels, which offers wholesale/bulk delivery, as well as home delivery.
As manager, Fox is honored to have his family name featured in the company name and has infinite hopes for the future in creating a true Columbus neighborhood tradition with Fox’s Bagel & Deli in Bexley and North Market.
